Step 1: Marinate the Chicken

  2. Mix well to coat the chicken evenly and set aside to marinate for 10-15 minutes.

Step 2: Prepare the Sauce

  1. In a small bowl, mix together soy sauce, oyster sauce, hoisin sauce, rice vinegar, sugar, and water.
  2. Stir until well combined and set aside.

Step 3: Stir-Fry the Chicken

  1. Heat 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil in a large wok or skillet over medium-high heat.
  2. Add the marinated chicken and stir-fry for 4-5 minutes until cooked through. Remove from the wok and set aside.

Step 4: Cook the Vegetables

  1. Add the remaining 1 tablespoon of oil to the wok.
  2. Add the garlic and ginger, stirring until fragrant (about 30 seconds).
  3. Toss in the onions, carrots, and cabbage. Stir-fry for 3-4 minutes until the vegetables are slightly softened but still crisp.

Step 5: Combine and Cook

Step 6: Garnish and Serve

  1. Remove the wok from heat and transfer the stir-fry to a serving dish.
  2. Sprinkle with sesame seeds and chopped green onions for extra flavor.
  3. Serve hot with steamed rice or noodles.
