Pigeon on the balcony – Source: spm
How do you install aluminum foil on the balcony to repel pigeons?
If you are faced with a horde of pigeons on your balcony, making gestures or shouting will not help. No matter how hard you try, the result is always the same: you come back every day and a little more. Your balcony and everything around it will get dirty. Fortunately, you can count on good old aluminum foil to solve this problem. Aluminum is usually used in the kitchen and is an excellent ally to repel pigeons that land on the balcony railing. In fact, when placed on the edge of the balcony, aluminum reflects sunlight, which bothers pigeons a lot, since they hate everything that shines. In addition, pigeons also hate the sound that aluminum makes when it crumples or when several pieces are mixed, which pushes them to find a new target.
This economical pigeon repellent is easy to install. Just cut several pieces of aluminum and place them on the edge or railing of your balcony, aiming at the place where they are most likely to fall. And if you have little aluminum foil, you can always opt for an alternative solution. In fact, you can use aluminum plates. Just as effective: just place two or three on the balcony, for an immediate and guaranteed effect.
