Banana Peels: A Surprising Way to Reduce Waste and Keep Bugs Away

Vinegar, either white wine or apple cider, 200 milliliters
One banana’s skin
Mix together 400 milliliters of water and 200 grams of sugar.
Just a two-liter bottle made of plastic

Here are the steps:

Using a cutter or scissors, split the plastic bottle in half.
Combine the vinegar, sugar, and water in a bowl and stir until smooth.

Finish by adding the banana peel to the plastic container along with the liquid.
Put the bottle anywhere in your home where you often see bugs.
Take note: Every two days, you should swap out the ingredients.

Bugs will be drawn to the sugar in the combination, but they will be repelled by the scent of banana peel. If you want to keep pests at bay without using toxic pesticides, this is a win-win situation.
